Organic and biodynamic wines are becoming increasingly popular and I spotted this one in a local suburban bottle shop when I was looking for something to try. From memory it cost around $12.00. This photo was taken on 25/5/2012. The Australian organic certification logo is clearly visible on the front label.
Like all wine labels, the back label tells the story and this label has all of the key words. Interestingly, it was only as I was uploading photos to prepare this post that I noticed the ‘vegan friendly’ printed on the side (in contrast with the massive ‘organic’ everywhere) meaning that albumin, casein, gelatine, isinglass or any other animal derived fining agent wouldn’t have been used in making this wine.
